Grove City Tech Lab uses a flat-rate remote technical support diagnostic and software repair fee for residential and home users.
A certified technician - local from Grove City, Ohio - will connect to your device using industry-standard and well-known remote technical support tool to diagnose and mitigate your issues.
Supported remote repairs:
- Operating systems including Windows, Mac, Chromebook, Linux/Unix
- Software scripts, applications, services, and daemons
- Performance due to malware or misconfiguration
- Application installation or updates
- Issues with apps or software workflows not functioning
A technician will reach out to schedule a remote session with you after purchase.
In the event the problem cannot be solved remotely, the remote technical support fee is non-refundable - however you will have the option to do a ship-in repair or a local pick-up (within 43123 area code) at no additional cost.
A good rule of thumbs is that you will need a working computer and internet connection to use this service effectively.
Not included in price:
- Initial or return shipping, if you end up having to ship it in
- Hardware parts, if we have to purchase them
- Software licensing, if you need or want non-free apps
- Specialized services such as data recovery, digital-forensics, etc.
- Advanced or infrastructure level architecture setup and configuration
- Equipment pickup
